Embracing Digital Technology in the NHS

Healthcare Survey Findings Report 2016

In England, the government recently revisited the idea that the NHS should be paperless by 2020 through investing in technology that could reduce costs, improve efficiency and ultimately lead to better patient care.

However organisations across the whole UK are responding to the challenges presented by austerity measures by seeking new and innovative ways of delivering high-quality, cost-effective services to users.

With this in mind then, how are NHS organisations changing the way in which they work to ensure high quality patient care remains at the forefront of service delivery?

iGov in partnership with OpenText conducted a survey which looked at how NHS organisations are embracing new ways of working; the challenges they faced; and how these have been overcome.
